Auction School Reduces Apprenticeship time by 18 months

West Virginia Code allows an apprentice to become eligible for the auctioneer examination through either of two paths: serving a full two year apprenticeship under a licensed auctioneer, or attending auction school and then completing just a six month apprenticeship under a sponsoring auctioneer. In practical terms, graduating from an accredited auction school cuts the required apprenticeship time by 18 months.
